ABOUT
Inviting emotion through form.
Hi! I’m Julia — a Swedish designer and craftsperson currently studying Industrial Design at Umeå Institute of Design.
With a background in leatherwork, fashion, and textile art, I bring a material-driven and hands-on approach to my design work.
My practice bridges the worlds of craftsmanship and industrial design — where form, emotion, and function meet. I’m passionate about creating meaningful and enduring designs that connect with people on a tactile and emotional level.

OUTSIDE OF DESIGN
The same curiosity that drives my work, shapes my everyday life
When I’m not in the studio, I spend my time outdoors, with my daughter, or exploring new creative techniques. I love gravel biking, horse riding, skiing, snowboarding, and hiking.
I’m drawn to photography, art, music, and visual storytelling — different ways of observing and shaping the world around me.
IN MY SPARETIME
A mix of nature adventures, hobbies, activities and family - just for the joy of it.
